New cerave acne control gel is a lightweight, moisturising, full-face acne treatment that comprises glycolic, lactic AHAs and BHA salicylic acid. In addition to removing existing acne scars and minimising visible pores, this gentle yet efficient exfoliant improves skin’s overall texture and appearance of smoothness. In addition to replenishing the skin’s protective barrier with three essential ceramides that work together to lock in skin moisture and help restore your skin’s protective barrier, acne control gel calms the skin with niacinamide, helps skin look noticeably clearer after three days, and maintains healthy skin with daily use. Move technology utilises encapsulation to ensure that ceramides are delivered efficiently within the skin’s barrier and slowly released over time. Long after you’ve finished applying it, it will continue to support your skin’s natural barrier.
Ingredients
Two per cent of the active ingredients are salicylic acid
A list of inactive ingredients includes water, glycerin, sodium hydroxide, glycolic acid, lactic acid, niacinamide, ceramide np, ceramide ap, ceramide e, carbomer, Cetearyl alcohol, behentrimonium acetate, tetraethyl tetrazolium chloride, xanthan gum, phytosphingosine, benzoic acid.
Directions
Before applying this product, make sure to cleanse your skin correctly.
Intended for use in the evenings only
Thinly coat the affected region up to three times a day.
You should only use it once a day, to begin with, and then increase the frequency if needed or as prescribed by a physician.
If irritation such as dryness or peeling occurs, reduce the frequency of application to once every other day or less frequently.
An alpha-hydroxy acid (aha) in this product has been linked to an increased risk of sunburn; therefore, be aware of this when using this product. Use sunscreen, cover-up, and avoid the sun for a week after using this lotion if possible.
